Sun Shield

My friend Greg had one of these in his ride.  As soon as I seen it, I HAD to get one!

It is a removable visor that mounts inside of the xB. It slides into the side pillars and headliner, then stays in place with 2 tabs that push out. Being that I can’t use my visors due to my 410mm Garson mirror, this will work awesome. A tinted strip would have ran me $75. This may end up being more, but I can always sell it or use it whenever I feel like it.

I got one coming!!

So I finally come back to this blog.  I suppose I should stay up to date more.  I’ll give it a shot.

What week did I stop at?  So long ago already.  So long, that I’ve been on the job and just have a few weeks of training to go.  Things are going okay.  The job has really been an experience.  I don’t think there is another job in the world quite like it. I work nights now, and it isn’t so bad.  Well, not as bad as I thought it would be.  I can’t believe how much stuff there is to learn and pickup on at work.  It seems like I learn something new everyday. In the meantime, my son was born.  Born SUPER early and has had a tough life even though it’s been a short one.  He spent 4+ months in the hospital but is now home. Needless to say, life has dramatically changed for me.  Always gotta think about the baby now.  No more me and the wife… It’s “us” for reall now. lol

Week 7..

Wow..  Just 3 weeks left before the “real” test comes!  It’s coming to an end quickly.  Had to take the state tests Friday and passed those, so I have my first change in “status.”  Had a good workout on Friday.  So much that I dropped 5 pounds in a day! LOL.  I am really going to have to take care of myself when I am done or I will be the “typical” donut eating person you think of. lol.  Week 7 was packed with studying.  I spent 3 to 4 hours a night preparing for the Friday test.  It was pretty stressful, but glad it’s over.  I don’t think I ever seen the team more excited as I did Friday when everyone was told that they passed.  Not only did we pass as a team, but we set a record for the average score for the test!  Ofcourse, we couldn’t go through the week without getting checked a couple times.  7 weeks in and we still are doing some dumb things..  Time to order my duty gear! woot!
